Berry Hall Cottage is attached to the 18th Century Gower House ‘Berry Hall’ and is just lovely! Refurbished to a very high standard whilst maintaining original features, Berry Hall Cottage sleeps four in a king-size and a double bedroom. There are two bathrooms, a lovely family bathroom with walk in power shower and separate bath and an en suite shower room off the king size bedroom. The downstairs has a lovely open plan living/ kitchen/ dining room, which is beautifully presented and has the original stone fireplace, a very well equipped kitchen, large smart TV and DVD, two very comfortable sofas, dining table to seat four.

This was our second week-long stay at Berry Cottage, and it was as lovely as our first visit. We love the cottage’s proximity to the beaches (literally a five minute drive to Port Eynon, our favourite, and ten max, to all other nearby beaches). But also the cottage itself is so cosy, with sweet period detail, that it’s a lovely place to return to and relax in.  Most importantly, Wendy and Mark are amazing and so helpful, that it just made our holiday – and last year’s – that bit extra special, (everywhere we went in the Gower, we found people to be so friendly and Wendy and Mark really have that spirit about them). Would definitely recommend this for a family holiday (our kids are aged seven and five), and are looking forward to booking another break again!

The kitchen is well equipped with gas hob and oven /grill, microwave, toaster, kettle, cafetiere, coffee machine (Nepresso)  fridge freezer, washing machine and dishwasher

Outside there is a very private and sheltered patio with table chairs and BBQ, which catches the afternoon sun. There is a further gravelled south facing garden to the front of the cottage leading from the patio with further seating which is ideal for having breakfast outside or just relaxing for the day also perfect for sitting out drinking cold beers or a glass of wine with a meal on warm evenings.

We had a fab holiday. Everything was very smoothly run, and we had everything we needed in the house. The kitchen was well equipped, the bedrooms were lovely and their was great attention to detail in making guests feel at home. Overall we had a super stay and would love to come again. Thanks Wendy!

On arrival we were greeted by the owner outside the property. Once inside we found it was clean, comfortable and with a very well equipped kitchen. It is very well located for most of the Gower peninsula whilst being remote enough to be lovely and quiet. We will be back.

Brilliant little cottage, perfect size for us. Great location, Wendy & Mark were lovely. When I got there it was late, he helped me out with the essentials, eggs, milk, beer. Would def stay again when we bring the parents down!
